I want you to feel your breath falling into your chest. Feel your fur rising, then as a purple light fills your body, feel your fur falling with the weight of the earth as you let the air out. Breath in again and listen to the subtle sound of your heart. Breath out and feel it gently beating under your long curved ribs. Turn your attention to your hooves. Can you feel your heart there too? Feel the air around you, wrapping you in a subtle hug. Let all thoughts evaporate like steam above a pot of tea. The warmth of that tea being the warmth of your breath outward into the air. There is a reason you woke up this morning. These breaths prove that. The reason is, you aren’t dead. Your thoughts float away as you are left with this simple truth.
You are alive.
